Your learning data is stored locally. Sending an email, submitting a survey or sharing an excerpt is your choice.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes Essential 40 for iOS and Android, provided by Rasikhun Digital. It also explains what happens when you contact us or follow optional external links. Privacy contact: [email protected].
Your app data stays local
Essential 40 does not require an account. Reading preferences and positions, Saved items, playlists, listening state, practice assessments, reflections and reminder schedules are stored in the app’s local storage to provide those features. The app does not send this learning data to a Rasikhun Digital server. We do not run a cloud-sync service.
Collection, use and sharing
The current app does not include advertising, advertising identifiers, third-party analytics or an automated developer crash-reporting service. We do not sell your app data or use it for advertising or tracking across apps and websites. Ordinary reading, listening and practice do not require microphone, contacts or location access. Platform diagnostics you choose to share with Apple or Google are governed by their services and settings.
Notifications, audio and shared images
With your permission, the operating system delivers reading and practice reminders. Background audio uses the system media controls. Android also uses a media foreground service and reconciles reminders after restart. Saving share artwork can write an image to your photo library or gallery; iOS requests add-to-Photos access. If you choose Share, the text or images you selected are passed to the recipient app you choose. That recipient’s handling is governed by its own policy. You may revoke optional permissions in your device settings.
Email and optional external services
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments so we can answer your request. Gmail processes those communications. If you voluntarily submit the app’s Google Forms survey, we receive the answers you submit and any contact information you choose to provide; Google processes the form under Google’s privacy policy. The iOS app can display that form in an embedded browser; Android opens it in a browser. Optional tutorial and recording-source links may open YouTube or another external service. Those services may receive network and browser/device information and apply their own policies. No personal learning data is automatically attached to an email, survey or link.
Retention, deletion and your choices
Local app data remains until you change or remove it, clear app storage where supported, or delete the app. Deleting the app is different from offloading it on iOS. Images saved to your gallery, exported files and information sent to other apps must be deleted separately. Device backups may retain copies under your platform settings; iOS backup behavior depends on those settings. Android currently disables app backup and excludes app data from platform backup and transfer rules, although device-vendor behavior can vary. We cannot remotely retrieve or erase local learning data. Support messages and survey responses are retained as needed to address requests and meet applicable obligations. You may email us to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent us; we may need to verify the request and explain any lawful retention requirement.
Data protection
The app relies on operating-system app storage protections and device security. Support email and optional external services are handled by their respective providers. Please secure your device, protect backups and avoid including sensitive information in support messages. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children and families
Essential 40 does not offer child accounts, social profiles or in-app messaging. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through support or feedback without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate. Store age and audience declarations are separate from this policy.
This website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser information and requested URLs to deliver and secure the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of that information. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising cookies, embedded video or a contact form. Email links open your mail app. Information you choose to send by email is handled as described above.
Changes and contact
